Hey Everyone!
Just wanted to let you know that Dakota made it home safely. He was an awesome traveler! I haven't touched him yet but he will let me stand with him at his hay pile. He did stretch out and sniff me a couple of times. I'm trying so hard to just let him come to me. It took some control not to reach out and try to touch him!
He is the most interesting color horse that I think I have ever seen. His hair is about three inches long and he has a multitude of colors in his coat. Almost a marbled look. He seems to be quite calm.
This is going to be such a great adventure!. Thanks to all of you for your words of encouragement. The attached picture was taken shortly after his arrival. Rhythm has become "big brother."
