Happy New Year, Jennifer & Cheryl.
Hope you guys had a restful holiday.
Logan survived his first week in the city, and is doing his best to acclimate to all the new sights and sounds. He's cautious but trying to be brave. Thought you might enjoy a couple pictures from his first week: meeting my Holsteiner, Raffe, and my Arab, Ali; and getting a lesson about carrots and apples from one of the dogs, Fergie.
Hi, Jennifer.
Hope you guys are doing well. It's been a while since I've checked in, so I thought I'd give you an update on Logan. First, his name change: he's now known as Whodat. The new name seems to suit him, at least he's coming to it when called.
We're slowly, but steadily progressing with training. He's crazy intelligent, and that, combined with a mild stubborn streak, makes him a challenge at times. I know it would go faster with a trainer, but I'm not in a rush, and doing it myself is really fun. And, despite his size (can you believe he's 18hh), he's still got a baby brain, so I'm taking my time with him.
Well, that's about it for now. I just ran out and took a picture so you could see how he's doing. His coat is a little mousey at the moment, but look at that tail. . . it's beautiful.
